Welcome to Phoenix Unified Surgeons PLLC!

Like the proverbial Phoenix rising from the flames, Phoenix Unified Surgeons opened suddenly on October 16, 2023. Dr. Fox-McClary (Colon & Rectal Surgery, General Surgery), Dr. A Cammarata (General Surgery), Dr. Brizendine (General Surgery), and Dr. Randolph (Medical and Surgical Podiatry, Dance Medicine), with the business assistance of Dr. G Cammarata (ER) and Mr. Randolph (retired military security), created our unique, multispecialty surgery clinic focused on providing excellence in surgical care. Along with Kim, our receptionist, our MA's Demi and Cole, and Donna, our office manager, we have rapidly opened for business. Our office address is 20333 N 19th Ave Ste 230, Phoenix, located just north of the junction of the 101 and 19th Ave in the Mahoney Group Professional Building. Because of our rapid opening, our phones are currently routed through a single phone, creating a jam to reach us by phone. Keep trying! Our formal business phone system will be installed next week.

We have to re-credential with all insurance plans. At the time of the writing of this blog, we are enrolled again with Medicare, BCBS, Aetna, and Oscar Health, with new insurances added weekly. For patients on private insurance, we are offering cash prices for new and follow-up patients, as low as $50-$100 (these prices are not available for Medicare and AHCCCS patients). If you want to be seen in office under insurance and were seeing our surgeons at the old practice, consider reaching out to your insurance provider for a "continuation of care" -- if approved, we can see and treat you in office now, even if not yet enrolled in your insurance plan. Finally, our surgeons can see and treat all insurance plan patients through the ER and hospitals, if your condition warrants visiting and being admitted.

A special thanks is in order for Mr. Al Pina, Mr. Randy Papetti, Mr. Alan Laulainen, Mr. Brian Elisco, and Mr. Bruce Newman for their superhuman efforts to help Phoenix Unified Surgeons get up and going again! Thank you to all of our patients for your understanding during this transition.
